Central chamber building of the Economic Chamber of Lower Austria

On a plot of approximately 9,200 m² within the WIFI grounds on Mariazeller Straße in 3100 St. Pölten, an office building for approximately 290 employees is being constructed for the Economic Chamber of Lower Austria (Wirtschaftskammer Niederösterreich).

The new central building of the Lower Austrian Chamber is divided into a basement, ground floor, and six upper floors. Office spaces are located on levels E1 to E6. Level E1 houses the central services, a reception hall, three event rooms, and a buffet.

A central feature of the Chamber's headquarters is an open atrium that extends through all floors at the center of the building. The Chamber's headquarters is connected to the existing WIFI building via an 18-meter-long bridge on the west facade.

The office concept meets the diverse requirements of the present and the future. User well-being is emphasized through flexible and adaptable room layouts and individual climate control.

The simple construction principle provides flexibility and allows for easy adaptation of the room structures.

Parking spaces are available on a parking deck south of the new building (143 spaces) and at ground level along the northern property boundary (37 spaces).

The building's foundation is established through a continuous foundation slab to minimize possible settlements.

The building is constructed as a solid building with load-bearing exterior walls and an internal column system. The stabilizing cores are located in the stairwell areas.
