OLIVER GUSELLA
studied construction engineering and has gained professional experience from working for a number of different companies at home and abroad. Oliver is a specialist in construction project management and site supervision, particularly in major revitalisation and new development projects. He is a quality-conscious team player whose feel for design is supplemented by an interest in crafts.
Oliver Gusella has been with Vasko+Partner since 2010 and a partner and managing director since January 2022.
MANUEL HAJEK
is a construction engineer specialising in structural design. From his work in architectural offices alongside his studies, he knows the artistic side of building construction as well as the various technical aspects which buildings of all sizes entail. He has gained experience from the numerous projects which he has managed and completed at Vasko+Partner and has shown himself to be a reliable team player. He has been teaching at his alma mater, TU Wien, and thus maintained close ties with it since his student days.
Manuel Hajek has been with Vasko+Partner since 2011 and a partner and managing director since January 2022.
CHRISTIAN MARINTSCHNIG
is a consulting engineer specialising in construction design and management. After graduating from FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, he acquired work experience in the fields of project development, project management and construction site supervision – also abroad, in particular in China and the Slovak Republic. He is an Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI) auditor. At Vasko+Partner, he focuses on project management and heads the Production Information division.
Christian Marintschnig has been with the company since 2001. In 2013, he joined the management team as a partner and managing director.
GÜNTHER SAMMER
is a consulting engineer specialising in process/chemical engineering. At Vasko+Partner, he is responsible for the field of building services engineering. After graduation from university, he acquired professional experience at the Environment Agency Austria.
Günther Sammer is an Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI) auditor and has been with Vasko+Partner since 2003. Since 2013, he has also been a partner and managing director.
CARL THÜMECKE
studied civil engineering sciences and construction management in Graz. Subsequently, he gained international experience in Prague and discovered his passion for project management. In Vienna, Carl leads a number of major projects with a special focus on school buildings, a field in which he has acquired in-depth know-how particularly with regard to public-private partnership schemes. He is sports-minded – not only in his leisure time but also at work, where he pursues his goals with fairness and endurance.
Carl Thümecke has been with Vasko+Partner since 2009 and a partner and managing director since January 2022.
ARNOLD VIELGUT
is a consulting engineer specialising in geography (regional research and planning), construction engineer and property expert. He focuses on project development, project planning and project management as well as on property valuation (due diligence investigations). He gained work experience in architectural and regional planning at the Provincial Government of Lower Austria (1995), in project development and in project management.
Arnold Vielgut joined Vasko+Partner in 2000 and has been a partner and managing director since 2013.
THOMAS WETZSTEIN
is a construction engineering consultant. He studied at TU Wien and took a PhD in engineering sciences. Apart from his position at Vasko+Partner, he has taught “Development and Planning of Large Construction Projects”, a master’s-level course of the “Management of Large International Projects” programme, at FH Campus Wien. He is an Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI) auditor and a member of the ICPMA.
Thomas Wetzstein has been with Vasko+Partner since 2001 and a partner and managing director since 2013.
